Every salesperson has a story of some situation they had that was either suspicious, dangerous or unpleasant. Most of these experiences could have been avoided or contained if basic safety steps had been followed but when you are new on the job, it doesn’t seem to be important. Every year real estate salespeople in Canada and the USA have accidents on the job or are harassed, robbed, attacked and even murdered. Not only are they in danger but so are their clients.
There is a liability issue which needs to be addressed. This program is a “must see” for “newbies” and a timely reminder for seasoned salespeople. The program is available on audio-visual CD with narration so that a salesperson may view it on an office PC or take it home to view. Also, it can be shown and discussed at a sales meeting with a student note brochure. It makes a great addition to the brokerage orientation training.
